Di fronte è presente anche una fontanella ma senza acqua con delle sedute comode per riposare un attimo dalla camminata anche se a questo punto siete solo all'inizio ma non arrendetevi la salita è semplice Statue of Neruda that you meet going up from the comfortable road towards the tower. Существует предание, что в саду растет груша, которая хранит память о поэте. Родился Неруда в 1834 году в Праге в семье торговца. Будущий поэт обучался праву и философии. По окончании учебы работал преподавателем, а в 1860 году устроился на работу в местную газету в качестве журналиста. Ян Неруда так никогда и не женился, он поддерживал близкие отношения с писательницей Каролиной Светлой. В произведениях писателя отражены суровая действительность пражских бедняков - "Кладбищенские цветы". В его сборнике "Книги стихов", вышедшем в 1868 году, поднимается проблема социального гнёта и конфликтов в чешском обществе. Наиболее известной прозаической работой писателя стал выпущенный в 1877 году сборник коротких рассказов «Малостранские повести». Ян Неруда умер в 1891 году и был похоронен на Вышеградском кладбище в Праге. После смерти его именем была названа одна из городских улиц. А в 1970 году был возведен памятник на Петршинском холме. A square with a statue of Jan Neruda and a second statue of two figures surrounded by frogs. A sunny spot with a nice view of the hill. Perfect for relaxing while sightseeing. There is a great cafe Cukrárna U knoflíčků nearby - I heartily recommend, delicious coffee.
