Ale život se s ním právě nemazlil, dlužno dodat, že on všelikým problémům vlastně šel naproti.
Přesto nebo právě proto, na tomto světě pobyl 12 690 dnů. Zažil zatčení, vyhnanství v Brixenu, smrt manželky a mnoho dalších protivenství.
