M	Milan Samarek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Barokní socha svatého Floriána téměř celý rok 2015 nehlídala Žerotínovo náměstí. Musela totiž k panu doktorovi. Její fyzicko-zdravotní stav už nedovoloval plnit zde své povinnosti. Proto ji musel pan restaurátor vyléčit. Ono 300 let to už je věk úctyhodný a má nárok na odstranění všech bolístek v podobě puklin a prasklin, všech nánosů od dýmu či holubů. The Baroque statue of St. Florian did not guard Žerotín Square for almost the whole of 2015. She had to go to the doctor. Her physical and health condition no longer allowed her duties to be performed here. That's why the restorer had to cure her. For 300 years it has been a respectable age and it is entitled to the removal of all pains in the form of cracks and fissures, all deposits from smoke or pigeons.

Schaunbergera z r. 1728. Navíc tak skvěle umïstěná v zákoutí Žerotínova náměstí, proti chrámu sv. Michala. Правая рука показывает статую летающего ангела с кувшином воды. Его левая рука держит знамя. Взгляд святого Флориана в мольбе устремлен на небеса. На ногах у него полоска обуви с львиной маской под коленями. Спина покрыта красноватым волнистым плащом. Барочный памятник выполнил в 1729 году скульптор Ян Йиржи Шаубергер. Лестница и постамент к нему - работа знаменитого оломоуцского каменщика Вацлава Рендера. Памятник установлен здесь не случайно. Известно, что в этой части города в 1709 году произошел страшный пожар в результате которого выгорелов около 350 домов. В этом пожаре были сильно повреждены и церкви Святого Мориса и Святого Архангела Михаила. В этой связи и был установлен памятник Святому Флориана, как покровитель огня. The right hand shows a statue of a flying angel with a jug of water. His left hand holds a banner. The look of St. Florian in prayer is directed to heaven. On his feet he has a strip of shoes with a lion mask under his knees. The back is covered with a reddish wavy cloak. The Baroque monument was completed in 1729 by the sculptor Jan Jiří Schauberger. The staircase and the pedestal to it are the work of the famous Olomouc bricklayer Vaclav Render. The monument was erected here not by chance. It is known that in this part of the city in 1709 there was a terrible fire, as a result of which about 350 houses burned out. In this fire, the churches of St. Maurice and St. Michael the Archangel were also badly damaged. In this regard, a monument to St. Florian was erected as the patron saint of fire.
