★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Při povodních v roce 1997 byla stržena přilehlá lávka přes řeku Ondřejnici. Novou lávku a sochu sv. Jana Nepomuckého darovalo spřátelené město Nepomuk. Socha je vytesaná z hořického pískovce. Slavnostní odhalení proběhlo v červenci 1998. Postupem času socha zarůstá stromy rostoucími v přímé blízkosti.
 During the floods in 1997, the adjacent footbridge over the river Ondřejnice was pulled down. The new footbridge and the statue of St. Jan Nepomucký was donated by the friendly town of Nepomuk. The statue is carved from Hořice sandstone. The ceremonial unveiling took place in July 1998. Over time, the statue is overgrown with trees growing in the immediate vicinity.

The statue is located at one of the stops on the Nature Trail - Leoš Janáček through the eyes of children. Quite a pleasant environment by the river Ostravice.
