We had the skewers between two of us, we were very full by the end!
Great prices for food and drinks, meal and 0.5L wine was about $40 CAD.

The food:
Starter was soup for me, delicious! I ate a Doe Steak, perfect, medium rare as in the big book, the french fries were house made (so rare these days), the mushroom sauce was so aromatic. The Perfect meal!
The staff:
Nimble, professional, speaks English, Russian, Czech and possibly more.
The place:
Unbeatable atmosphere, great (jazz) music, the hockey culture pours from everywhere, the doorhandles are skates. <3
The price:
Super prices, very reasonable.
I loved it all. To me this is the perfect end or beginning of a perfect excursion to the wonderful chateau nearby.
The place is amazing. 5 stars, no arguments about it.
Deserves the Michelin star! I clapped for the cook/chef, lovely!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place in the heavily touristic area just underneath the Hluboká chateau. Beer from local brewery is very nice and same applies to their lemonades. Food is not exceptional but decent. Prices are high above the norm around here, even higher than the average in otherwise much more expensive Prague - you want roasted potatoes and a sauce as a side? prepare extra 110 CZK. Pork knee? 360 CZK. Salad? 220 CZK etc.

The local beer spirit is an interesting taste.
The local dark beer (christmas special 16 Lotr) was very nice as well.
The food was fabulous, we went as a group of 3 and everyone was very satisfied!
The apple strudel was great!
The service was veey quick, all food was delivered hot, ready to eat!
Recommended for anyone visiting the castle orjust passing through.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place on the small square of Hluboka. Price and quality of the food is very good. Interior decoration is amazing! Sitting outside during summer is awesome as well. Beer is impressive. Overall just wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice interior and garden terrace in the French Riviera style. Very kind personnel. Great beer and delicious food. Prices in the mid higher range but reasonable for the quality. I would recommend to everyone to stop at this place when visiting Hluboká nad Vltavou.
