★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most magnificent, majestic hotel buildings we have stopped in. The grounds are wonderful and really lend themselves to an evening stroll after dinner. We ate on the terrace, unfortunately only one member of staff spoke a little English but she was very friendly. Not the best dinner we've had but the breakfast certainly made up for it. On one morning the chef cooked pancakes on the terrace. The building which is linked with a corridor to the hotel is, I think a rehabilitation unit which houses the pool they mentioned, but we weren't allowed in. The room was large and the bathroom even bigger. Superb views of the grounds.
