Sportovní centrum Lužánky vzniklo v Brně v r. 2006. Nejprve byla součástí centra pouze hokejová hala se dvěma ledovými plochami, s rozměry kluziště NHL i s rozměry evropskými a odpovídajícím zázemím.
V roce 2012 byla dostavěna administrativní část a konečně v srpnu 2013 i sportovní hala Sportpoint, jejíž součástí je speciální sportovní plocha taraflex. Hokejová hala slouží především hokejovým a krasobruslařským klubům, je domovským stánkem Vysokoškolského hokejového klubu VSK Technika Brno, který hraje 2. Ligu ledního hokeje, hrají se zde 4 amatérské hokejové ligy a díky veřejnému bruslení je přístupná i široké veřejnosti.
Sportovní hala Sportpoint je určená převážně florbalistům a futsalistům. Domovským týmem je zde brněnský klub Bulldogs Brno, hrající českou florbalovou extraligu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is ok. A lot of choices for ice sport, kometa shop, under armour shop and some other facilities like café. During the time for kids to learn ice-skating and training hockey can get chaotic as people become little animals as their kids need to go first.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two ice rinks with good location. See schedule for public skating. Most of the time there are hockey trainings, you can go see youth hockey players from HC Kometa Brno and Technika Brno. Sometimes there are hockey matches and from time to time there is even Kometa's A-team training. Upstairs there is hockey shop with everything needed for players and pub as well, with view on the rinks. You can get lunch, coffee or beer here and watch your little player down on the ice.
