The pseudo-Romanesque church built in the years 1876-1878 will surely impress at first sight with its slender tower. It is currently undergoing reconstruction. Even before this building there was a church, the first of 1050 was dedicated to St. Wenceslas, later rebuilt in Gothic style and in 1670 succumbed to fire. The Renaissance successor also could not withstand the fire, this time in 1867.

The Pseudoromian triple-nave church with presbytery and sacristy and oratorio on the sides was built in 1876-1878 after the devastating fire of the city, which destroyed the previous church, among other things. The new church was built in its place. The main altar is decorated with the painting from the renowned master of the church art Josef Vojtěch Hellich (1807-1880). The frontage is dominated by a high prismatic neo-gothic tower.
