Ačkoliv jsou zdejší prostory relativně zrenovovány, nemohu se zbavit dojmu (za těch několik desítek let cestování skrze toto nádraží), že se zde tak trochu zastavil čas. Nachází se zde větší množství nástupišť, naštěstí jsou dobře značená a není problém s rychlou orientací. Hlavní odjezdová tabule se nachází v hale s prodejem jízdenek. Tyto prostory zároveň dobře poslouží při nepřízni počasí. Nachází se zde i prodejní automat. Nádraží má i vlastní WC (klíče k půjčení zpravidla na pokladně). Hned za budovou se nachází stanice linkového autobusu. V blízkosti nádraží je pak i veřejné parkoviště. První vlak sem přijel 1. prosince roku 1858. Stará Paka is a railway station in the northern part of the village of the same name. Although the premises here are relatively renovated, I can't shake the impression (during those few decades of traveling through this station) that time has stopped here a bit. There are a large number of platforms, fortunately they are well marked and there is no problem with quick orientation. The main departure board is located in the hall with ticket sales. At the same time, these spaces will serve well in bad weather. There is also a vending machine. The station also has its own toilet (keys to borrow usually at the box office). There is a regular bus station right behind the building. There is also a public car park near the station. The first train arrived here on December 1, 1858.

Další obrázky jsou ze 16,12.2019 ze Staré Paky.Jel jsem ze Staré Paky do Liberce a zpět se společností Arriva. Strojvůdce byla žena,což mě v hloubi duše znepokojilo,nikdy jsem neviděl v této funkci ženu.Cesty byly příjemné ,bez problémů.Evidentně byly soupravy 642 čerstvě dovezené z Německa s německými nápisy ,bez WIFI a zásuvek 220V (USB).Pevně doufám,že se to do budoucna zlepší. To mě přijde dost brutalní.. Sleepy railway station, partially renovated. Too bad for a closed restaurant. Two machines are a weak substitute. M	Martin Janata on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Křižovatka tří železničních tratí. Pěkné nádraží. Dávno v minulosti nejlepší vanilková zmrzlina. Jen horké párky už se u vlaků neprodávají. Pamatuji se na pána, který párky prodával přímo ve stojících vlacích a někdy nestačil vystoupit. A potom putoval v bílém plášti s hliníkovým tácem pod paží po kolejích pět, šest kilometrů zpátky. V roce 1972 tady byla velká železniční nehoda. Nákladním vlaku od Hradce Králové selhaly brzdy a vykolejený vlak silně poškodil nádražní budovu. Intersection of three railway tracks. Nice train station. The best vanilla ice cream in the past. Only hot sausages are no longer sold at trains. I remember a gentleman who sold sausages directly on standing trains and sometimes it was not enough to get out. The freight train from Hradec Králové failed brakes and the derailed train severely damaged the station building.
