★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staré náměstí je centrum starobylého města Ostrov. Východně se nachází "Nové město" s vlastním honosným centrem. Dominantou Starého náměstí je Stará radnice, kde je v současnost galeríe a obřadní síň. Probíhají zde různé kulturní akce. V jižní části je zámek, v kterém je muzeum a Městský úřad. Na severní straně neleznete Kostel sv. Michaela a Panny Marie Věrné. A ještě kousek dál bývalý klášter. Na západní straně se rozléhá kdysi slavný park s Letohrádkem.
Old Town Square is the center of the ancient town of Ostrov. East is the "New Town" with its own splendid center. The Old Town Hall dominates the Old Town Square, where galleries and a ceremonial hall are present. Various cultural events take place here. In the southern part there is a castle with a museum and a municipal office. On the north side you can see the Church of Sts. Michael and Virgin Mary Faithful. And a little further away, the former monastery. On the west side there is a once-famous park with the Summer Palace.
