★ ★ ★ ★ ★ V roce 1241, za vlády krále Václava I, byl tady postaven jez. Dnes je známý jako Staroměstský, protože sloužil pro potřeby Staroměstského mlýna na pravém břehu Vltavy... Stavba ze dřeva a kamene je 321m dlouhá. Propust svojí šířkou splňuje nařízení Karla IV z roku 1366, totiž 20 loktů, tedy téměř 12 m.
In 1241, during the reign of King Wenceslas I, a weir was built here. Today it is known as the Old Town, because it served the needs of the Old Town Mill on the right bank of the Vltava River ... The construction of wood and stone is 321m long. With its width, the culvert meets the order of Charles IV of 1366, namely 20 cubits, or nearly 12 m.
