★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not your typical experience of luxurious Czech castles but it has a history and charm, the locals work really hard to keep it up and it's absolutely worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has a very sad history as it was used by the army and then left to decay from 1950s as it was due to be demolished. Luckily it has not been demolished and is currently being repaired. The guided tour is good but most of the rooms are not in a very good state so if you're expecting a beautiful chateau you will be disappointed. I still think it's worth a visit and it would be interesting to visit in a couple of years to see how the reconstruction is going.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stunning place is slowly being eaten by coal mines. From here you will have a great view on the surrounding area, to see the magnificent contrast between nature and heavy industry. Access by car isn't the best, so using your own legs is preferable. Small park with unusual trees and flowers is also present. Inside the chateau is nothing special to see, equipment is modest and admission for inside tour is small as well. You won't find many people here as this place is starting to be considered a ruin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old chateau endangered by coal mines nearby. Views from the gardens are very sad as you can see destroyed landscape buy coal mines. 800 metres from the chateau or some 200m step uphill is a viewing site where you can see, how big the mines are and how they won't to tear down the chateau

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a depressive and decaying place with view on coal mine and moon landscape. No surprise it is the place where many movies or tv series were filmed over last couple years. Truely atmospheric place.
