★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pokud máte už dost turisty přeplněná náměstí a uličky, přijďte se odreagovat na klidné Jiráskovo náměstí. Kromě působivé budovy státního okresního archivu tu v parku najdete klasicistní pískovcovou sochu sv. Jana Nepomuckého z roku 1827, údajně od E. Maxe. Nad podstavcem je výrazná římsa a nad ní sokl sochy s nápisem: "Sv. Jene Nepomucký oroduj za nás!" a dalším: "Opraveno L.P. 1931" v zadní části. V pravé ruce drží socha kříž a palmovou ratolest. Klid si můžete vychutnat přímo v parku na lavičce pár metrů od sochy.
If you have enough of squares and alleys crowded with tourists, come to the quiet Jiráskovo Square. In addition to the impressive building of the State District Archives, you will find here a classicist sandstone statue of St. John of Nepomuk from 1827, allegedly from E. Max. Above the pedestal there is a distinctive ledge and above it a plinth of sculptures with the inscription: "St. Jan of Nepomuk, pray for us!" and another: "Corrected by L.P. 1931" at the back. In the right hand the statue holds the cross and the palm branch. You can enjoy peace in the park on a bench a few meters from the statue.
