Trať číslo 190 přichází z Plzně a pokračuje do Českých Budějovic. Dále na plzeňském zhlaví odbočuje vedlejší trať číslo 198 vedoucí na Šumavu do Volyně, Vimperka a Volar. Vedlejší trať číslo 203 spojuje Strakonice s městy Blatná a Březnice. Strakonice railway station is a relatively important transport hub. From here we can get to four directions. Line No. 190 comes from Pilsen and continues to České Budějovice. Further on, the line No. 198 is leading to Volyně, Vimperk and Volary. The secondary line number 203 connects Strakonice with the cities Blatná and Březnice. The last one is the siding to the Fezko premises. The main railway line Pilsen - České Budějovice is 136 kilometers long. The main impetus for the construction of the line was the transport of coal during the industrial revolution. In 1966 the building was started by the brothers Klein Company and Vojtěch Lanna. Today, the track is of great importance for long-distance passenger transport, connecting southern and western Bohemia. Moreover the fast trains that run here continue from České Budějovice to Vysočina and to Brno. The service runs regularly in a two-hour interval. You can pay also by card and euro at the station. There is a barrier toilet in the station, there is a public transport stop, a public car park, a bus stop and a post office near the station.

A station whose appearance was destroyed by the Communist. The interiors are quite small, the missing waiting room is quite shocking at the station of this size. The new bus terminal is great. The staff is nice, the station building is ugly, but the clarity of the platforms is sufficient. If the building is reconstructed, I wouldn't see a reason not to give 5 stars.

Jednoznacne nejhezci rodne mesto. Uchvatne scenerie, protkane bohatou historii. Autobusova cast nadrazi jiz prosla rekonstrukci a tak sousedi primo s vlakovym nadrazi. A bacha, vlakac je v planu rekonstruovat v breznu 2020. Pak uz jen staci postavit metro, parlament a novy stadion Sparty Praha, kde samotna Sparta slavne zvitezi ve finale Ligy mistru .. v te dobe uz samozrejme pod nazvem Sparta Strakonice.. v te same dobe uz Slavie existovat nebude (nadbytecnost) a misto Prahy budou lany s repkou .. chachaa.
Clearly the most beautiful hometown. Breathtaking scenery, rich history. The bus section of the train station has already undergone reconstruction and thus neighbors directly with the train station. And look out, the train is planned to be reconstructed in March 2020. Then just build the metro, parliament and the new stadium Sparta Prague, where Sparta itself famous for winning the final of the Champions League .. at that time of course under the name Sparta Strakonice .. the same time Slavia will not exist (surplus) and the place of Prague will be ropes with rapeseed .. chachaa.
