Studium na škole zahájily dvě třídy prvního ročníku stavebního zaměření. Ačkoliv zpočátku nebylo zaměření školy zcela jasné, začala se škola později jednoznačně profilovat jako škola stavební. V roce 1996 se stala členem Asociace středních průmyslových škol. Two classes of the first year of construction specialization started their studies at the school. Although initially the focus of the school was not entirely clear, the school later became clearly profiled as a construction school.
