 If you like contemporary theater, you must not miss the Studio of Heroes. You will not sit on an upholstered armchair, but you will enjoy the basement of the Trade Fair Palace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Studio Hrdinů zůstane v mé mysli už asi napořád spojené s Vojtou Dykem a jeho panem Theodorem Mundstockem. Měl jsem možnost podívat se na toto velmi zajímavě pojaté představení v dle mého názoru neotřelém a zcela určitě moderním pojetí. Samo studio není vhodné pro velkolepé realizace klasických her stylu Shakespeare, ale menší komorní představení jsou zde jako doma. Nejvíce mě na představení zaujala práce se světlem (resp. tmou) a akustikou prostoru, který spíše než divadelní scénu připomíná prázdnou industriální halu a dodává tím představení specifický ráz.
P. S. Jedna z málo scén, kde je opravdu dost místa na nohy...??
The Studio of Heroes remains in my mind almost always connected with Vojta Dyek and his Theodor Mundstock. I had the opportunity to look at this very interesting performance in my opinion, a novel and certainly a modern concept. The studio itself is not suited for spectacular Shakespeare style classic games, but smaller chamber shows are here at home. I was most interested in the work with the light (or darkness) and the acoustics of the space, which rather than the theater scene reminds of the empty industrial hall and gives the performance a specific character.
P. S. One of the few scenes where there really is enough room for your feet ... ??
