Kostel byl pro okolní obyvatele významným místem a pouť k němu vedla z Libušína do pěkného kopce. Vedle kostela je dřevěná zvonice z roku 1500 a kostelík je obklopen hřbitovem. Na ostrožně byla obec až do konce 2.sv.války. Od roku 1908, kdy byl vysvěcen nový kostel dole v Libušíně je kostel veden jen jako poutní a hřbitovní. Moc hezké místo, hezky udělané informační tabule. On the site of a Slavic fortified settlement stands the Gothic Church of Sts. George, but apparently stood already a Romanesque church. The church was an important place for the surrounding inhabitants and the pilgrimage to it led from Libušín to a nice hill. Next to the church is a wooden belfry from 1500 and the church is surrounded by a cemetery. The promontory was the village until the end of WWII. Since 1908, when the new church was consecrated down in Libušín, the church has been kept only as a pilgrimage and cemetery. Very nice place, nicely made information boards.

V roce 1683 byl Bernardem Ignácem z Martinic do kostela pořízen raně barokní oltář a kazatelna. Oltář svatého Jiří byl vyroben kolem roku 1760. Působivá dřevěná zvonice byla u kostela postavena kolem roku 1500. U příčné hradby oddělující akropoli od předhradí najdete informační cedule (stejně jako menší po celé ploše hradiště). The impressive wooden bell tower was built around the year 1500. At the crossing wall separating the acropolis from the forecourt you can find information signs (as well as smaller ones throughout the fortification area).
