Dílo v nadživotní velikosti je umístěno na podstavci dosahující výšky přibližně 2,5 metru, na kterém je nápis tohoto znění: "SVATÝ VÁCLAVE, VOJVODO ZEMĚ ČESKÉ, NEDEJ ZAHYNOUTI NÁM NI BUDOUCÍM".
The statue of the patron saint of the Czech lands on Marian Square was created by the famous Czech artist Stanislav Sucharda at the beginning of the 20th century. The larger-than-life work is placed on a pedestal reaching a height of approximately 2.5 metres, on which the following inscription reads: HOLY VENCESLAS, DUKE OF THE BOHEMIAN LAND, PROTECT US AS WELL AS THE FUTURE ONES.
