★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You'll have trouble not finding what you need. Think of this place like a Walmart but without the chaos and weapons on sale. Also imagine a Walmart with slightly more helpful employees, just slightly.
Prices are about middle of the pack. Some items will be cheaper than at competing stores and others will be equally matched or more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tesco-Futurum is well stocked and has plenty of self checkouts and cashiers. The floors need some work as there are loose tiles in places. Can be a challenge to navigate as the layout isn't intuitive. Overall though, a good place to shop.

Products are the same as always with good prices and nice discounts. If you can order online, go for it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a tourist, I loved this place. It is a typical big Tesco with a large selection, but it's open late. I mean when you come from the US (most supermarkets open till 11 or midnight or 24h) or even nearby Poland (most supermarkets open till 10 pm, many till midnight or 24h and ubiquitous small chain shops open long hours), the Czech Republic is shocking with chain supermarkets closing at 6, 7 or 8 PM. This place closing at midnight is one of the few stores in Ostrava for those of us who are used to late night shopping, so it's a blessing for tourists. I mean you come from an all day trip to a nearby town and find almost all supermarkets closed... than you go to this one and it's mercifully open. Probably my review is no use for locals, as they are used to local customs, but for tourists this store is a "life saver" and I hope my review is also useful
