★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a bar... and it has BOOKS ! I mean, what more do you want ? Not only that, but it's a great book selection and excellent cocktails. Definitely caters heavily to the sci-fi crowd, as evidenced by a Spice Melange cocktail delivered on a Dune coaster and a page from the novel on the side (if that doesn't entice you, then I don't think we can be friends). Great atmosphere and lovely people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cocktails! The weekly special is worth trying - the bartenders are really very creative. I had The Left Hand last time, quite good! Amaretto, cointreau, gin, rhubarb bitters, and a vanilla sugar rim. They have special events like drunk poetry and various book clubs to tie in to the bookstore half.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent, pleasant and friendly service! Love that the owners talked with us and gave us advice about the drinks and answered all the questions we had! The place is vegan with various selection on drinks and food!
There is a really nice bookcase and place for sitting and reading a book but also offers a space for enjoying a drink with friends! Prices are mid-higher. Some signature cocktails definitely are different from what you would expect! Would definitely visit again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing place! If you’re in Prague you have to stop by, you’ll love it! Tucked away in a charming basement about a block from the Jiřího z Poděbrad metro station, the space is so cool and the staff are so friendly, I didn’t want to leave. Great collection of unique, book themed cocktails along with all the traditional. I went with the Nut teen eighty four, and was really impressed (also had a really well made Old Fashioned). Sakal the 3 legged dog must be the official greeter, he’s so sweet. I’ll stop by on all my Prague visits, and would be a natural for expats in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily one of the coolest hidden subterranean bar treasures in Prague. It's cozy, friendly, and mindful about how our individual worlds combine to make humanity.
The drinks are amazingly hand-crafted works of art to dazzle the senses. The staff is knowledgeable, humble, and heartwarming.
There's a sweet resident little doggy that you might be able to give a biscuit to :)
The beers are cold and poured perfect. The books are amazing. If you make your way here, you will always leave with new-found friends, and a hope for tomorrow!
