Vkládám i fotografie QR kódů, kterými je možné přispět na rekonstrukci kostela. Je to mimochodem výborný nápad, jak získat finanční prostředky. Držím palce. I attended a beautiful concert. The sound of it being carried here. After a long time, an amazing experience. Church Night is a nice event. Thank you. I also insert photos of QR codes, which can be used to contribute to the reconstruction of the church. By the way, it's a great idea to raise funds. Good luck.

Komenského je poměrně strohá novoklasicistní stavba, která vznikla v roce 1931 podle projektu Jaroslava Křížka z roku 1929. Podle jeho návrhu kostel vybudoval stavitel Josef Svaťák, pozdější místokurátor sboru. Základní kámen byl položen 5. 10. 1930, budova byla předána sboru na svátek svatého Václava, 28. září 1931. Interiér chrámu je poměrně prostý. V předsálí kostela jsou reliéfy Jana Husa a Jana Amose Komenského. Z něho vede schodiště na kruchtu s varhanami. Do chrámové lodi pak vedou troje dveře. Před kostelem je pomník dr. Milady Horákové, popravené komunisty v roce 1950. Spolu s rodinou byla členkou zdejšího sboru. The Czech Brethren Evangelical Church and the Congregational House of J. A.
