Budowę kościoła „Na Niwach” ukończono dopiero w 1932 roku. Jest to budowla wzniesiona na planie krzyża greckiego, a jej elewacje noszą znamiona neogotyku. Wnętrze halowe z systemem empor po bokach i w chórze, z wyodrębnionym prezbiterium, w nim neogotycki ołtarz roboty rzeźbiarza śląsko-cieszyńskiego Henryka Nitry (1891 - 1948).
Liczba wiernych kościoła wahała się w granicach 40-50 000 osób, co czyniło go najmniejszym ze wszystkich czechosłowackich kościołów nurtu protestantyzmu tradycyjnego[

The construction of the church "Na Niwach" was completed only in 1932. It is a building erected on a Greek cross plan, and its elevations bear the neo-Gothic character. Hall interior with a system of emporium on the sides and in a choir, with a separate presbytery, in it a neo-Gothic altar made by the sculptor from Silesia and Cieszyn, Henryk Nitra (1891 - 1948).
The number of the church's faithful ranged between 40,000 and 50,000, making it the smallest of all Czechoslovak churches in the traditional Protestant tradition [
