As someone with no teaching experience going into the course, I felt that the course prepared me in every way possible to be a successful English teacher. The course staff, especially Chris, is very dedicated and always available for whatever you may need. The course was challenging but engaging and also helpful for accommodating to life in Prague. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is considering teaching abroad.

I thought it would be simple to come to Prague and immediately start teaching. Not the case. However, The Language House taught me so much more I needed to learn about grammar, teaching and confidence. They also helped get me settled into a foreign environment by providing a great comfort system. I was able to practice teaching, brush up on my grammar and learn invaluable teaching skills. I made great friends through the course along the way. Now I am able to live in Prague, work and make friends in the Czech Republic. The Language House offered a comfortable environment to work on our projects, nice housing for the duration of the course and great tips on finding a job. If you are considering moving abroad to teach, I would definitely suggest The Language House.

The teachers at this school were incredibly helpful and very nice. I learn so much during my one month intensive course and definitely recommend this course to anyone who is considering a TEFL certification. The owner Chris is fantastic and really makes sure that you are learning all the information you need and also enjoying your time in Prague. The rest of the staff is also always making sure you understand the material and are very helpful. The course is intensive, but there are many opportunities that Chris and the staff provide to wind down and enjoy the wonderful city of Prague. This course was better than what I expected and again I would recommend this course to everyone.

It was a tough course but I felt very prepared afterwards and had the confidence to teach that I was completely lacking at the start. The staff is very supportive and they have continued to offer their time and help to students beyond completion of the program. There is a huge community of TEFL graduates from the Language House that have been nothing but amazing with helping to introduce the new students to Prague. I would highly recommend this course and I am completely happy with my decision to start this adventure through the Language House.

I just recently finished the TEFL course at The Language House this past May it was an awesome experience. The entire staff and owner, Chris, are very knowledgeable and also very helpful throughout the course. I never felt like I didn't belong in this amazing community here in Prague and my further experience moving into a new country has been great as well with meeting past TLH graduates. I feel like I have been prepared to teach in any language school and to be able to tackle various topics and lesson types. I recommend this program to anyone and everyone who is interested in living abroad and wishes to teach english!

I did not imagine how useful the course would be and how prepared I would feel for teaching in the "real world" after completing the course. I learned so much and got a ton of practice student teaching. It is scary to teach for the first time if you have never done it before but the staff and all of my classmates were so supportive and encouraging. It makes it so much easier and more enjoyable! The staff truly want you to succeed and put in so much effort to helping every student in the course. The classes in the course are all so valuable and full of information that I still use in teaching my lessons after the course. TLH also does a great job of forming a wonderful community in each of their courses. I became such good friends with everyone in group and am still friends with them after the course. It truly is like finding a family abroad! TLH also gives so much extra assistance in finding housing, getting a visa, transport passes, and much more. They make they experience so much fun, even though it is a very intense course. You will definitely work hard, but TLH also provides some fun hangouts and makes class time very fun and engaging!

The pre-course guidance made me feel confident and comfortable making such a drastic life-change. The course has an incredible staff who are all extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. The course is quite intense, but it has throughly prepared me for anything that I might encounter in the workplace. The post-course job guidance is also incredibly helpful. There are multiple posts daily about job openings with honest reviews. The majority of my class found jobs within 1-2 weeks. And lastly, the community that the Language House has built is incredible. Moving across the world can get lonely, but it’s comforting to know that I’ll always have the Language House community there for me.
