The small but picturesque village of Královice is situated in the beautiful, slightly wavy landscape of Slansko/Kladensko regions, about 5 kilometers northwest of Slaný. The place where the village lies now has been inhabited since ancient times. It is confirmed not only by the foundations of the Celtic chalets, but also many remains of the Bronze Age. The Královice itself (then as a settlement) originated at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries and from it´s very beginning was divided into a larger number of estates of various families. The king's fortress was held by Vilém Zajíc of Valdek since 1409. If you walk or pass through the village, don´t miss the beautiful sandstone bridge over the Bakovský brook, as well as the chapel of St. The Archangel Michael at the nearby village square, or the former mill mill, which majestically closes the village in the northwest direction.
