The village Královice - Municipal Office

The small but picturesque village of Královice is located in the beautiful slightly undulating landscape of the Slánsko / Kladno region, about 5 kilometers northwest of Slaný. The place where the village now lies has been inhabited since ancient times. This is confirmed not only by the discovery of the foundations of Celtic huts, but also by many remains from the Bronze Age. Královice itself, then still a settlement, was established at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries and since its inception it has been divided into a larger number of estates of various ruling families. The Royal Fortress has been held since 1409 by Vilém Zajíc of Valdek. If you walk or pass through the village, the beautiful sandstone bridge over the Bakovský stream, the chapel of St. Archangel Michael on the nearby square, or the building of the former mill, which majestically closes the development of the village in the northwest direction.
