★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nie som si istý, či predavačky za pultom s pečivom sú zlomyselné, alebo proste tupé, ale dlhodobým pozorovaním som zistil, že keď si vypýtam dve položky, existuje asi 50% šanca, že aspoň jednu si "pomýlia", spravidla s niečim drahším, prípadne mi toho zabalia viac, alebo sa aspoň niečo sprosto opýtajú. Potom tvrdia, že mi ako Slovákovi nerozumeli, ale názvy pečiva beztak čítam po česky z ceduliek (niežeby v sortimente mali niečo, čo by sa po slovensky volalo úplne inak). Uznávam, že pečivo majú výborné, ale tá obsluha ma už tak nasiera, že chodím už iba do Il Pane sto metrov vedľa, kde mi majitelia -prisťahovalci z Talianska-, zázračne rozumejú a zatiaľ nikdy nič nedomrvili.
I'm not sure if the saleswomen behind the pastry counter are malicious or just dull, but through long-term observation I've found that when I ask for two items, there's a 50% chance that they'll "mistake" at least one, usually with something more expensive, or they'll wrap up more for me, or at least ask something outright. Then they claim that they didn't understand me as Slovaks, but I still read the names of the pastries in Czech from the signs (because they had something in the assortment that would be called Slovak completely differently). I admit that their pastries are excellent, but the staff already pisses me off that I only walk to Il Pane a hundred meters next door, where the owners - immigrants from Italy - miraculously understand me and have never finished anything.
