The station in the form of a simple waiting room, with only a small covered area in case of bad weather, is an ideal entry and exit point if you are planning a trip to the ruins of Dívčí kámen castle or to the nearby Celtic oppidum. It lies on a single-track line that leads from České Budějovice via Český Krumlov, Kájov and Nová Pec to Černý Kříž. There are two restaurants near the station, but both were closed in the middle of the summer season, so I recommend taking the necessary supplies with you. The station is set in the beautiful South Bohemian countryside and thanks to the relief of the terrain there is a beautiful view from the north and northwest. Just a few tens of meters from the station (on the route to the castle) grows a memorable Třísovská lime tree. There is a free car park next to the train station, if you are traveling in several groups using different modes of transport, it is a convenient meeting place.
