★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Objekt má zajímavou architekturu zvenku - opravdu připomíná zámeček. Je posazený u lesa mírně na kopečku, takže si užijete večerního sluníčka o pár minut déle, než ostatní v obci Hojsova Stráž. Vevnitř jde opravdu spíše o ubytovnu - vše je staršího data. Nicméně musím pochválit pana správce, že se opravdu významně stará o čistotu - to pozvedá ubytování hned o úroveň výš. Objekt má i slušnou kuchyňku a jídelnu. Wifi jsem chytil i na pokoji. Pokoj byl na ubytovnu vcelku útulný - matrace vypadala nově a na nočním stolku byla nová lampička, což je úplně jiný level, než svítit zářivkama. Snad jedinou výtkou je trošku větší hlučnost - z vedlejších pokojů je dobře slyšet co se mluví, takže není dobré mít hlučné sousedy. Nicméně to je dáno charakterem a věkem stavby - odhlučnění by byla významná investice, ale v dlouhodobém horizontu by prospěla.
The building has interesting architecture from the outside - it really resembles a mansion. It is perched on a small hill near the forest, so you can enjoy the evening sunshine a few minutes longer than others in the village of Hojsova Straz. Inside is really a hostel - everything is older. However, I have to commend the manager that he really takes care of the cleanliness - it raises the accommodation level up. The building has a decent kitchen and dining room. I caught Wifi in the room. The room was quite cozy to the dormitory - the mattress looked new and there was a new lamp on the bedside table, which is a completely different level than the fluorescent lamps. Perhaps the only complaint is a bit more noise - from the adjacent rooms you can hear what is being said, so it is not good to have noisy neighbors. However, this is due to the nature and age of the building - soundproofing would be a significant investment, but would benefit in the long run.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super místečko, ochotný správce. Trochu spartánské, ale se špunty v uších se to dá. Dveře od pokojů jsou stará klasika, takže ruch chodeb je velmi slyšet. Nechybí společenská místnost. V kuchyňský kout dobře vybavený. Ceny nízké. Nedaleko možnost stravování.
Great place, helpful caretaker. A little spartan, but with earplugs it's possible. The doors to the rooms are an old classic, so the bustle of the corridors is very audible. There is also a common room. The kitchenette is well equipped. Low prices. Nearby catering available.

A place to sleep. Nice view. Rooms modestly furnished. Clean showers and toilets. Possibility to cook something, heat in the shared kitchen (all equipment) Parking in front of the hostel. Low price.
