Ve 13. století byly téměř současně postaveny tři hlavní církevní stavby - kostel sv. Jakuba a klášterní komplexy minoritů a dominikánů. Během pozdější renesanční přestavby vzniká originální typ jihlavského měšťanského domu s tzv. krytým dvorem. Nejvýznamnější barokní stavbou je jezuitský kostel sv. Ignáce. Pamětní deska na radnici připomíná, že zde byla v roce 1436 vyhlášena za přítomnosti císaře Zikmunda basilejská kompaktáta. The original Slavic settlement, located on the border of Bohemia and Moravia, quickly became a royal upper town, the oldest in the Czech lands, thanks to the discovery of silver. In the 13th century, three main church buildings were built almost simultaneously - the Church of St. Of St. James and monastic complexes of minorities and Dominicans. During the later renaissance reconstruction, an original type of Jihlava burgher house with a so-called covered courtyard was created. The most important Baroque building is the Jesuit Church of St. Ignatius. A memorial plaque at the town hall commemorates that the Basel Compact was proclaimed here in 1436 in the presence of Emperor Sigismund.
S	Simona Prokešová on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bohužel dávám toto hodnocení protože informace zde jsou neaktuální. Informační centrum se zde již nenachází. Ptala jsem se na radu vedle kde prodávají jízdenky. Tam my řekli že tady je to už dávno zrušený a že mám jí k Bráně matky boží. A u brány mě zase poslaly do ulice Hluboká kde nikde nebyla vývěska informačního centra. Tak jsem se optala v knihovně a ty my řekli že je to na magistrátu. A tam samozřejmě zavřeno a žádná vývěska že by tam mělo být informační centrum hrůza. Člověk tu po náměstí běhá s dárky ze stromu splněných přání a akorát sem jen naštvaná a dárky nesu zase domů. Měly by jste si tady obnovit adresu i fotografie na google. Unfortunately, I give this rating because the information here is out of date. The information center is no longer here. I asked for advice next to where they sell tickets. There we said that it has been canceled here a long time ago and that I have her to the Gate of the Mother of God. And at the gate they sent me again to Hluboká Street, where there was no information center notice board. So I asked in the library and you said it was at the town hall. And there of course closed and no message board that there should be an information center horror. One runs around the square with gifts from the tree of fulfilled wishes, and I just get angry here and take the gifts home again. You should restore your address and photos to google here.

I v těch nejzapadlejších koutech republiky je TIC prestižnější a otevřeno i o víkendech během sezóny. Město by mělo aktualizovat údaje, neboť původní TIC na náměstí již není. The regional city and TIC are closed in the passage to the City Hall, the service is unpleasant, it is closed on weekends. Even in the most remote corners of the country, TIC is more prestigious and open on weekends during the season. The city should update the data, as the original TIC is no longer in the square.
