Inside there are few tables but with lots of room between tables. The food is local and the beer is fresh. The stuff is fast and friendly,. Prices are normal for the offered quality :)

The pub does not offer anything fancy, which is a good thing. Friendly staff, waiters pay attention to the customers and one does not need to wait long for the meal to be served. There is a small seating area by the entrance and additional large seating area is accessible via short corridor by the restrooms. Lunch break offer seems to be a good value. Main course, soup, dessert/salad ~ 119 CZK. Outside of lunch break hours, when the competition is much weaker, the value goes down, considerably.

The lack of four stars is due to the repeated insistence that the tip must be 10% at the moment of payment, going so far as to refuse cash because a tip of 50 Kč (what I had in cash) is not 10% tip -- and an insistence that I pay by card then (total bill was ~ 1000 Kč) to add 100 Kč. I figured the first time it must've been a rude/tired waiter but on a repeat visit, I realized it's systematic as yet again the insistence on tipping while they stall on taking payment. They now share names and concept (goose, duck) with the restaurant chain Husinec which may be more famous at their more central locations. I would recommend going there instead of this location which seems to have a managerial issue. I have never encountered this rude hassling from any other restaurant in Prague, a city which I've spent over a month of tourist days in recent years and have always tipped reasonably in the range of 5-15%. This restaurant seems to have forgotten that tips in Europe are something at the discretion of the diner and governed by social codes - if the occasional tourist not tipping undermines your whole enterprise, raise your prices accordingly. I don't mind 100 Kč as a tip when it's an actual tip and not a forced markup - markup your prices then. I will not visit this place again nor will I recommend it to anyone, unlike Husinec nearer the city, which has for repeated visits over many years been a pleasant place.
