★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most traditionals Beer Pubs in Prague, with a long history in the country (actually since 1499) and a very good dark beer. Now they produce also a light one. The people inside are always entertained by musicians, they can play your favourite song from your country if you ask them to.
Pros: excellent beer and service from the personal.
Contras: the food is a little bit overpriced (one could think it's normal, given the reputation of the local) and more important: although credit/debit cards are accepted, if you only drink beer without consuming any food, you will be required to pay just in cash. So, be prepared for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The oldest continuously brewing craft brewery in Czech. Their dark special beer is great and definitely worth to try it. The unique atmosphere and genius loci of this place enchants you. I always try to get there when I’m in Prague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A 'must do' in Prague, but don't just pop in for a beer. Stay a while and try the food too! There's great atmosphere with locals and tourists all calling in. The beer is superb, and if the musicians are in, its great fun!!! Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the end we had a mixed feeling with this place. Food and beer is great but the service is really pushing you to drink as much as possible (especially the shots at the beginning which barely have any alcohol) and at the end it seems like they try to get the most out of the tourists. If you aren't aware they will just sum up some random number on a calculator and tos in an exceptional tip and you also won't receive a receipt. Wouldn't recommend it to tourists but great for locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best culinary & cultural experience we had in Prague during a weekend-long stay with friends. You can reserve a table and eat outdoors in the garden, if weather allows. The setup gave the impression we ended up in a local market/fair. It was lovely! And the live music made it such a fun night. The musicians walk around and entertain the guests. The staff was extremely friendly as well! And last but not least the food: DELICIOUS! The duck with potato dumplings and red cabbage was amazing. We enjoyed every single dish! High quality ingredients, cooked with passion to show the best of the Czech cuisine. Not to mention the beer and the "aperitif" welcome drinks: you can't miss them out. A must-have experience when visiting Prague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist trap . The black and white beers are just about ok. Tried beef goulash and pork knuckle.Very average . The knuckle wasn't crispy. They servers keeps on bringing some warm alcohol on tables to raise the bill. Also they encourage you to order more saying kitchen will close in 10 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is worth visiting solely for the authentic environment. We really liked the accordion player and the look of the rooms, and the dark beer was very good.
The service is very unfriendly and the staff shoving drinks nonstop even before you take a look at the menu (the player was very nice though).
Prices are high even for the beer.
It's a place for one time visit and that's all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not that I don't like the authentic sense of the place, but it felt like a money making machine. Once you get in, you are assaulted by the waiters proposing drinks even before we have settled down at the table... As if every second of our time there must generate an income for them. I personally prefer to have a look at the menu first. But, maybe it's just the way they want it to be. We took an offered local beer and ordered a cheese plate, which cost us almost as much as full meal in some other restaurants. The beer was OK, but the service was too overwhelming for my taste. And the place felt too crowded... Especially in covid-19 times it feels uncomfortable... We prefer to keep some distance from others while we eat... Not elbowing our neighbors while sipping the beer...
