The U Kavčin crossroads is located on the main, red-marked tourist route, the so-called Golden Path of the Bohemian Paradise in the direction of Hrubá Skála - Valdštejn. In addition to this route, the signpost also shows the direction of the blue to Jan's lookout and further to Sedmihorky, or to Podvyskeřský mill. The green color marks the path in the direction of Turnov - Kost. The Golden Trail of the Bohemian Paradise is a 120-kilometer-long route that connects the most important places of the Bohemian Paradise. Its origins can be traced back to the second half of the 19th century during Vojta Náprstek's travels to Prachovské skal. It also owes its signage to the establishment of the Czech Tourists Club.
