Beer tastes like soap sometimes, the waiter in the terrace looks like he is always drunk, never smiles, the food is below average. I wish someone took the place from the owner and changed into a cosy pleasant pub. It has potential.

Do not expect a fancy restaurant, but a typical Czech pub (in the basement) or typical Czech restaurant (at the entrace level). If you are trying to see a typical Czech environment, this is a good place to go

After we ordered a drink he actually was shouting to us and telling us not to sit at the bar but in a booth. Don't know why. We finished our cheap drinks and left this horrible place. I hope he is the owner of this place, it would be a crime to have staff like that. Awful place. ??
C	Christopher Cotton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was good, beer cold. Outside was nice, but the downstairs bar was old and dark. Sadly the food was not acceptable, especially given the prices. We would happily use it for beer, but not for the pretty poor quality and expensive food. Personally we will avoid it from now on.

They have typical Czech beer (Svijany) for a fair price even in the centre, reasonably priced food even at the evening. For that price you get a normal food, nothing special. Even better are lunch menus. The pub is open long if there are people drinking, you can be fairly loud as the pub is in the basement so you do not disturb surrounding houses. And as a bonus, they accept credit cards
