Podle Václava Hájka z Libočan byl manžel kněžny Tety jménem Slavoš zakladatelem osady Slavošova u zdejšího brodu na významné obchodní stezce. Pod jménem Brod je osada poprvé zmíněna v roce 1088, město Beroun bylo založeno v červnu 1265.
 An interesting name reminiscent of the inn "U města Slavošova". He is said to have lived here during the Thirty Years' War ... According to Václav Hájek from Libočany, Princess Aunt's husband named Slavoš was the founder of the Slavošov settlement near the local ford on an important trade route. Under the name Brod, the settlement is first mentioned in 1088, the town of Beroun was founded in June 1265.
