★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Když jsem dnes ráno viděla v nabídce kanadské poutines, zajásala a krátce po poledni jsem si pro ně zašla.
Poutines jsou nadvakrát smažené hranolky v hovězím loji, kousky pařeného sýra, které mají plavat v husté hnědé omáčce z hovězího vývaru. V nabídce U Sotonů byly poutines s trhaným hovězím masem.
Já jsem dostala obyčejné hranolky s kousky pečeného vepřového masa, místo pařeného sýra byly kostky eidamu a omáčka byla klasická sladko kysela čínská z vietnamské večerky.
Oceňuji snahu zařazovat nová jídla, ale prosím, takhle fakt ne. Tohle s poutines nemělo vůbec nic společného. Jsem upřímně zklamaná.
When I saw Canadian poutines on the menu this morning, she cheered and went for them shortly after noon.
Poutines are double-fried french fries in beef tallow, pieces of steamed cheese that are supposed to float in a thick brown sauce of beef broth. The U Sotonů menu included poutines with shredded beef.
I got ordinary french fries with pieces of roasted pork, instead of steamed cheese there were eidam cubes and the sauce was a classic sweet sour Chinese from a Vietnamese dinner.
I appreciate the effort to include new dishes, but please, not really like that. This had nothing to do with the poutines. I'm genuinely disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Přátelská jídelna s rodinou atmosférou a českými klasikami za rozumné ceny. Denní menu má 6-7 různých jídel, na nic nečekáte a i okolo oběda se téměř vždy dá najít místo k sezení, jinak si můžete vzít sebou.
Naprosto ideální volba, pokud pracujete v okolí a chcete někam skočit na rychlý oběd.
Friendly dining room with a family atmosphere and Czech classics at reasonable prices. The daily menu has 6-7 different dishes, you don't expect anything and you can almost always find a place to sit around lunch, otherwise you can take it with you.
Absolutely ideal choice if you work nearby and want to jump somewhere for a quick lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Average, cheap food, mainly heavy dishes meats with sauce and dumplings or rice, fried cheese etc. Mostly OK if you are not sitting in the office all day like me. Ceasar salad was horrible... huge chunks of bacon, not healthy, felt sick after eating it.
