Chtěl jsem se tímto zeptat managementu a vedení FN Ostrava, zda tohle myslí vážně? Jestli by náhodou nechtěli leccos přehodnotit?
I wanted to ask the management and management of the University Hospital Ostrava if they mean it? If they didn't want to reconsider something? I went with my little son to the planned surgery in the FNO, and after finding out that the parking lot in front of the Polyclinic was already fully occupied, I decided to park on the hospital premises. I drove through the whole area and after almost twenty minutes of wandering and searching in a new, albeit huge, but still operational parking lot, I was forced to park in an uncomfortable place where I certainly should not park according to PSP. Then we had to go from the anesthesiology department at the Polyclinic through the whole area to the central reception and then again almost all the way back to the building of the specialized and inpatient departments. This journey is quite (especially time-consuming) even for a healthy adult, let alone for a three-year-old child or an elderly person. When we finally arrived at the ward, we were told that he knew we were planning to, but that they had not yet prepared a room for us. With a hungry and thirsty child (he was before anesthesia), we waited in the ward corridor for two more hours before we reached the room. And all this can be overcome and somehow forgive, even if it does not indicate a quality and professional approach. What cannot be understood is the price for parking in the ditch. I had to pay 280 CZK for three and a quarter hours of parking

It is really organised and with good conditions but the nurses are really rude. We are erasmus student and they only speak czech. They don't like foreign people and they are no friendly. Good conditions, bad profissionals.

Unfortunately we had to visit Stomatochirurgic department on Sunday evening in emergency with our kettle nephew who had an accident and the tooth got broken. The nurse was very nice to us whilst we were filling up all the paperwork. Meanwhile doctor A. Ščerbová arrived and told us her opinion about the necessity to take out the tooth. We were worried to make the decision quickly and she was so nice and patient that didn’t mind to explain everything to our family friend (dentist) over the phone. Whilst the procedure started she was communicating with our nephew, explained him everything and shortly it was done. Really amazing experience and lovely professional, but still kind attitude of the nurse and the doctor. Thank you very much again!!! PS: there is massive car park with 50czk fee.
