Richter House - a distinctive and majestic building (one of the dominants of the Small Square) was created by combining several significantly older buildings. Permanent buildings in these places already existed in Romanesque times, as revealed by the preserved Romanesque rooms in the eastern part of Richter's house. The building on the Royal Route consists of several Renaissance houses with Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance elements. The whole building has undergone a major Baroque renovation using Classicist elements. The building boasts an Empire portal by JL Brauner from 1798. Augustine of Florence opened Prague's first pharmacy in one of the Gothic buildings that stood on this site before 1400. Since 1882, the Prague Telephone Business has been located here - the first telephone exchange in Prague. The house was completely renovated in 2007 and today it is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
