The prices are absolutely OK due to the level of the company and the delicacies offered. Staff great and helpful. Great for me. P.S. we liked it so much that we would have a wedding here

This restaurant is half way between the Klíše-Hvězda junction towards the dormitories of UJEP. Recently renovated it is one of the few in the whole country that doesn't make a difference between people who have and who haven't been jabbed. And this is crucial in these crazy times. And I reckon that’s why this place is still full, while those businesses which "comply" with nonsensical and illegal government rules are empty. Here again, one can feel like in the days when going to a restaurant was for everyone. The Veranda restaurant is incredibly cozy, clean and very well maintained (beautiful seasonal decor). The restaurant has an on-the-street outside sitting and also small garden sitting. The front part with bar is dominated by an extremely rich selection of high-quality wines from the Czech, Moravian vineries and from the rest of the world. At the back, there is a large room with a fireplace. All drinks and especially wines are really at a high level here (that matches best restaurants in Prague). Veranda restaurant does not have a kitchen but offers high quality and beautifully looking deserts, “deli-selection of salami and cheese” and sometimes it is possible to order a roast pork knee, pork neck, or St. Martin's goose. There is also live music time to time :)! No wonder this restaurant has become a favorite spot to go for a romantic date or for “only-girls- gossip-meeting” or, or to drop-in for a glass of wine or a beer. You will find the restaurant in Klíšská Street, about 3/4 of the way from the iconic crossroads - Klíše-Hvězda towards the UJEP dormitories (the veranda is just above the "Na Hnátě" restaurant). This restaurant is a so-called Free Zone - ie it does not differentiate between those who got stabbed and those who did not. And this is absolutely crucial in today's crazy times when the government is dividing society. And that's why it's still crowded, while those businesses that "follow" nonsensical and illegal rules are often empty. Here again, one can feel like in the days when going to a restaurant was for everyone. The restaurant is incredibly cozy, clean and well maintained (beautiful seasonal decor). In front of the restaurant is an outdoor seating area facing the street, at the back there is a small garden. The front part with the bar is dominated by an extremely rich and high-quality wine shop, in the back it is a large room with a fireplace. All drinks and especially wines are really at a high level (comparable to the best restaurants in Prague). The Veranda restaurant does not have a kitchen, so it offers a selection of beautiful-looking desserts, cold plates - quality sausages and cheeses, but sometimes it is possible to order a roast knee, or neck, or St. Martin's goose. Sometimes there is live music :)! The porch has become a popular place for dates, birthday parties, etc. or for girls who go to the "gossip".

Nice people, a good bastion ?, a family restaurant and the most beautiful terrace - an oasis of calm in Ústí nad Labem ?
