I would like to thank both doctors. Dr. Lešnerová and Dr. Šimek for the wonderful care of our cat seniors. The last years of their lives have been with us. Until the last moment, they fought with us for their full life. And despite the fatal diagnoses at 16 and 17, they were amazingly professional, supportive and wonderful. Thanks also go to the nurse, who often stayed longer just because of us, because she wanted to know how we were doing. I would like to disprove the shit to Dr. Šimek, who is undoubtedly a peculiar doctor, but I had no experience with him other than positive, although I understand that his pragmatic way of communication may not suit weaker characters. But he always reacted absolutely fantastically to my direct communication. Dr. Lešnerová is an absolute gem. Although we had to say goodbye to our seniors, we found supportive guidance from BOTH doctors and we will definitely and gladly entrust the next generation of our cats to their care. Thank you! It's been less than a week since I handed over our 1.5 year old chihuahua female for a planned operation - castration associated with an umbilical hernia. Unfortunately, it ended at the worst possible end. At the end of the procedure (about 60 minutes after being anesthetized), the heart stopped. When resuscitating, oxygen deployment in 40 min. there was another pledge on the postoperative bed and the recovery was no longer possible. This is information about doctors Mrs. Lešnerová and Mr. Šimek. From that moment on, I had a very painful moment, full of remorse, what went wrong, what I had to do differently. I discussed with the doctor the next day what might have been the cause. My consideration - overweight (4.7 kg in 1 year and 6 m). According to her, that was not the problem. She is said to have had a congenital heart defect. No preoperative examination was performed. She just listened to her heart after the injection with the sedentary and said she hadn't heard the murmur. I think she should have warned me that this overweight is already a risk to this double surgery. I could opt for laparoscopic surgery with inhalation anesthesia, which is less invasive and heals better. Or go until something loses weight. By not mentioning the potential risks at all, I fully trusted her. Next time, I will deal with more opinions and not rely on one doctor, which we go to from the beginning. I write this mainly so that you can learn from my bad and very painful experience and deal more with the possible risks of such routine operations. Operating costs incl. I paid for the resuscitation and I don't even go to the surgery with the turkey.
