★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Velke Losiny is in a beautiful part of the Czech Republic but was very quiet in June when we were there. We only stayed one night as part of a tour so didn't really have time for the outdoor activities for which the area is famed. We ate at one of the few restaurants in the village, a pizzeria almost opposite Villa Aurelie and it was very good. The villa is more of a guest house than a hotel but is of excellent quality and very stylish. We had a very clean spacious room with good shower and the breakfast was very good.. Negative: As far as we can make out the Villa is run basically by one woman who is pleasant enough but cannot speak English. We had tried to ring the villa many times the day before our arrival to confirm something but we got no answer either on the villa number or a mobile number that was given. Although our confirmation said pay in Euros the lady insisted on Czech crowns and did not want us to pay by debit/credit card either..
