I have to share a bit of the experience from Friday's tasting (April 22, 22). The journey from the Giant Mountains to Moravia was long, the expectations after the previous references of friends from our tasting group were great and I am glad that absolutely nothing disappointed us. The cellar was very nice, the snacks beautifully decorated, the cutlets excellent. Most of all, however, was a combination of the beautiful conversation of both spouses - winemakers and the taste of individual samples. How to learn something from practice, how they take care of the vineyard all year round, what worries they have during subsequent production and what pearls can be experienced during subsequent presentations at wine festivals or wine fairs is great! What probably appealed to me the most was that it's not a large-scale production ... It often takes minutes during fermentation and its control, and you probably have to be really precise and keep alert to make something good out of it. Otherwise, it is certainly true for customers that 100 people = 100 tastes, but here, in my opinion, 98 customers out of 100 will choose the ideal variety. For me, I would probably like to highlight Chardonnay barrique, which fermented in an oak French barrel, and when we drank it, we immediately remembered our 9-year-old holiday in Umbria in central Italy, from where we brought cartons of this "chardone" fully packed car trunk. But that someone like that in Moravia will be able to do that ?? :-)
