After the war, he worked at the War School and at the Military Geographical Institute. After the German occupation, he went underground, cooperating with the domestic resistance. He was arrested on October 9, 1941, and executed on June 30, 1942. After the war, he was promoted in memoriam to the rank of brigadier general.
