★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Regionální muzeum ve Volarech je mimořádně autentické, velmi profesionálně koncipované, expozice jsou prehledne a pritazlive, zobrazuji poutave historii tohoto šumavského městečka vcetne pietní části věnované ženským obětem pochodu smrti. Navíc je umístěno v jedné z několika unikátních puvodnich roubenek, které Volary proslavily. Vřele návštěvu doporucuji!
The Regional Museum in Volary is extremely authentic, very professionally designed, the expositions are clear and attractive, I show the fascinating history of this Šumava town, including the reverential part dedicated to female victims of the death march. In addition, it is located in one of several unique original log cabins that made Volary famous. I highly recommend a visit!

A pleasant little museum that focuses mainly on local history in various ways - railways, World War II, the Golden Trail, the church and the military.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malé lokální muzeum v původní budově věnované historii Volar a okolí. Místnosti o situaci na konci druhé světové války, bývalá dráha z Volar do německého Pasova a také jedna plná zbraní a uniforem z války. Symbolické vstupné, čisté toalety a znalá sympatická pokladní. Rozhodně doporučujeme, pokud budete mit cestu kolem. Prohlídka zabere zhruba půl hodinu.
A small local museum in the original building dedicated to the history of Volar and its surroundings. Rooms about the situation at the end of World War II, the former railway from Volar to Passau, Germany, and also one full of weapons and uniforms from the war. Symbolic entrance fees, clean toilets and a knowledgeable, nice cashier. Definitely recommended if you have a way around. The tour takes about half an hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Klein en mooi. Goedkope inkom.nog geen 2 euro voor de hele fam. Je krijgt er een goed beeld over de Dodentocht eind WO2. Deze is daar langs gekomen. Ook enkele WO2 Russische wapens. En je kan ze aanraken.
Small and beautiful. Cheap entry, less than 2 euros for the whole family. You get a good picture of the Dodentocht at the end of WW2. This one came over there. Also some WW2 Russian weapons. And you can touch them.
