H	Helena Torrao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This visit had so many highlights! The area is beautiful. We arrived early on Friday morning, so popped into Hardegg, Austria for lunch. Hardegg is an historical place. We found a lovely restaurant by the river, where we had a huge lunch. Walked over the bridge and we were back in the Czech Republic. The owner of Pension Hamry is awesome. Our room was on the first floor. It was sufficient. The bed was very low and the mattress was a little uncomfortable. The walk over the bridge at the Přehrada (reservoir), was spectacularly beautiful and scary because of the height! On Saturday we climbed 80m to the castle above the town, hectic, but great hike up. The castle is worth a visit. We did a few drives to the other side of the reservoir, where there is a paid 'beach'. There are beautiful villages to visit and a trip to this area is highly recommended.
