★ ★ ★ ★ ★ V těchto místech původně působil rozsáhlý Výzkumný ústav zelinářský, působící v rámci ČSAZV. Dnes tyto prostory a plochy užívá skupina vyúkových a vědeckých institucí, sdružených pod centrum excelentního výzkumu Haná. Z nich tato pobočka VÚRV m. j. uchovává a doplňuje genobanku druhů a odrůd zelenin a ještě jiných plodin a zabývá se jejich výzkumem.
 An extensive vegetable research institute, operating within the CSAZV, originally operated in these places. Today, these spaces and areas are used by a group of educational and scientific institutions, associated under the center of excellent research Haná. Of these, this branch of the RDP, among others, maintains and supplements the genobank of species and varieties of vegetables and other crops and deals with their research.
