Very nice view, view of Ústí nad Labem and the river Elbe from an unusual place. The road to it from the housing estate Pod Vyhlídkou is very muddy.

The access road is not marked, but we hit the first time. The road is very muddy. Let's wait for the summer, it should be a nicer view than now in the rainy winter ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vyhlídka Františka Málka je pojmenovaná po členovi síně slávy organizované turistiky v Ústeckém kraji a významném turistovi, který žil v letech 1940 až 2017. Pokud neprší / není po dešti, je přístup vcelku snadný (jinak příšerně blátivý). Na místě najdete informační tabuli, oplocený prostor s výhledem do kaňonu mezi Děčínem a Ústím a samozřejmě část města Ústí nad Labem. Je zde i skromné posezení s menším přístřeškem – ideální na odpočinek a při nepřízni počasí. V blízkosti vyhlídky se nachází již dávno zapomenuté hradiště. To vzniklo někdy kolem 9. st. (zaniklo v 2. pol. 10. st.) a střežilo obchodní stezku spojující Česko a Sazko.
František Málek Viewpoint is named after a member of the Hall of Fame of Organized Tourism in the Ústí Region and a prominent tourist who lived from 1940 to 2017. If it does not rain / rain, access is quite easy (otherwise terribly muddy). On the spot you will find an information board, a fenced area overlooking the canyon between Děčín and Ústí and, of course, part of the town of Ústí nad Labem. There is also a modest sitting area with a small shelter - ideal for relaxing and in bad weather. Near the lookout there is a long-forgotten fortified settlement. It originated sometime around the 9th century. (disappeared in the second half of the 10th century) and guarded the trade route connecting the Czechia and Sazko.
