About "W" Restaurant
The “W” Restaurant & Whiskey Bar is a great venue combining a restaurant, bar and the largest collection of whiskey expressions anywhere in the world in a unique location. You’ll find us right in the historic heart of the city next to Old Town Square. Located in unique grand cellars, we are proudly elevating dining experience for locals as well as visitors to the next level.
We are bringing this unique concept to Prague from Tel Aviv, Israel, where “W” Restaurant & Whiskey Bar originated and became one of the most prominent venues. Continuing in the tradition, our walls are lined with more than 1,000 whiskey varieties that hail from an impressively wide range of countries, from classic whiskey-producing regions like Scotland and Ireland, to distilleries a little further afield, in Hong Kong, India or Japan.
The restaurant’s modern kitchen offers dishes specifically designed to accentuate whiskey flavours while suiting the ambiance of this unusual setting. They include delicious cuts of smoked meat, vegan dishes, appetizers, and tempting desserts made by our pastry chefs right on the premises.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant itself looks great. Modern interior, chique. If you like whisky, it's the place to be in Prague, with hundreds of different whisky's against the walls. If you don't drink whisky, it still looks great. The food is fine, not special. Friendly staff/owners. Recommended if you like a very clean and modern restaurant and whisky. If you just want great food, we have visited better restaurants in Prague. But of course: everyone has different taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "W" Restaurant & Whiskey Bar is amazing. Justyna wasgreat at helping me make a reservation. She answered emails quickly and followed up to make sure I was having a good time. The food was well played and tastesd amazing. Now, let's talk about their whiskey selection: they have a great offering of scotch, bourbon, Japanese and Irish whiskeys. I tried a few glasses and really enjoyed them all. I would recommend to anyone that wants to enjoy good whiskey and good food. Dennis, one of the cooks is also a great guy.

The place has a huuuuuge whiskey menu, sorted by regions and everything, but in truth, there’s hundreds of bottles on the walls everywhere. You can just go, have a look around, pick one and you can have that one. It’s so nice! And the selection is impressive! So many nice whiskey I’ve always wanted to try but never had the chance!
And the food was on par, really perfectly cooked steak, accompanying the whiskey greatly!

We have just visited Prague and I wish we found this place sooner so we could have been more then once.
The food was some of the best I have tested and the staff was lovely. Definitely go if your in Prague✨

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful dinner location in the center of Prague. W Restaurant is known for their whiskey selection but have great wine options as well. Reasonable prices and portions for the quality of food and experience. Making reservations online was very easy and it is a short walk from the main square. We had a great time and highly recommend this spot for your visit.
