Zámek věrný svému jménu je krásná červená budova postavená u zámeckého rybníka kolem něhož pokračuje park přístupný veřejnosti. V okolí je mnoho krásných míst , např. kamenité koryto potoka Mastníka. Sama památka je přístupná pouze omezeně např. v rámci svatebních obřadů či koncertů. Zámek stojí v místě někdejší tvrze z 13.století a jeho nynější podobu mu vtiskl můj oblíbený Jan Kotěra, který na něm pracoval ještě coby student. Neo-Gothic castle located about 2 km from Sedlčany is a beautiful romantic place belonging again to the Mladot family. The castle, true to its name, is a beautiful red building built by the chateau pond around which continues the park open to the public. There are many beautiful places in the surroundings, eg the stony bed of the Mastnik stream. The monument itself is accessible only to a limited extent, eg in the context of wedding ceremonies or concerts. The chateau stands in the place of a former fortress from the 13th century and its present appearance was imprinted by my favorite Jan Kotěra, who was still working on it as a student.

Ač se nabízí k pronájmu při společenských akcích (svadby, konzerty atd.) ale pokud jedete jen okolo, za krátkou procházku kolem hradeb a rybníka ta chvilka rozhodně stojí... Wonderful place ... R	Renata Racina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na hrádku se svítí a na zahradě výskalo dítě, pěkné, že tu někdo bydlí a zámek udržuje, byla by to škoda.Pěkně opravený.Zahrada zarostlá,ale nejspíš to má nějaký důvod :)Je tedy pro veřejnost uzavřený.Parkoviště jsme nenašli, stáli jsme u popelnic:) The castle is lit and in the garden popped a child, nice that someone lives here and maintains the castle, it would be a shame.Pekně opravený.Garden overgrown, but it probably has a reason:) So it is closed to the public. we are at the trash cans :)

Stojí za to projít okolí,kde se nachází rybník a lesem kolem zámku vede stezka, která se vine kolem potoka. Parkování žádné. Určitě spojit výlet s jinou památkou, je jich v okolí dost.
