★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pěkně opravené, na zámku je hezké, malé muzeum, dále zde sídlí knihovna a městský úřad.
 Nicely renovated, the castle has a nice, small museum, there is also a library and town hall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nejhezčí zážitek z celé návštěvy města byl z choceňské zmrzliny na náměstí. Jinak je to nepříliš zajímavé místo. Do kostela můžete vstoupit, ale v bližší prohlídce svatostánku brání přes uličku natažený špagát, dál prostě zákaz vstupu pro věřící i nevěřící. Pánbůh by zaplakal... Na zámku sídlí městský úřad, v zámeckém parku kromě pár vzrostlých stromů není nic ke koukání a obdivování. Domácí občanka po dotazu na zajímavosti města hodné k návštěvě navrhla domov důchodců nebo nemocnici, což hovoří samo za sebe. ?
