We had Mr. Súkup's houseboat rental company on recommendation, and I can say that rightly so. Professional approach both when taking over the houseboat and training and test drive - all for 1. We stayed from Monday to Sunday and we drove through the whole Baťák. There are ports where the facilities could be improved, but there are also those that are really nice. I can recommend (showers, toilets and catering) ports Petrov, Strážnice, Old Town, Uherský Ostroh and Spytihněv. The only one that really disappointed us was the KUNOV FOREST. We rented a houseboat for the first time and I can say that it is a beautiful experience. The first day I completed a light test and we went for a ride, where we were shown how to swim through the chamber and we went back to the port (As a driver, I would probably get a Friday, but Mr. Sukup is very patient and on the first ride you will learn everything in 40 minutes you need to know how to control the ship). We were two adults and a 9-year-old boy, and we managed to easily bounce the perches in the chambers. Our story: We went north and wanted to fish. We parked on the river division, see photo. After 45 minutes of fishing, the river level dropped by 20 cm and we could no longer move with the boat. We called Mr. Sukup, he arrived immediately, but the ship could not be rescued even at three, it cut a stone in the middle. He therefore hitched up his monster car, drove along the shore and rescued us. This happened for the third time in 11 seasons. Watch out for the drop in the water level :) What surprised me more was that we didn't take anything off the reserve during the trip, so we couldn't know. We crossed the entire Batuv canal in 5 days, first we went north, where, in our opinion, the ports are not much, but the ports in the south, are nice and more friendly. We used not less than 35L of petrol for the whole pass, paradoxically Mr. Sukup charges 31.9 per liter, which was a crown less than for sale. As we sailed, we met various houseboats and also had fun with their crews in the harbors. What I want to praise on this type is definitely the pressure above the front deck, without it we would be cooking in that stuffy. It's also beautiful that you sit on the front deck and put your feet in the water, which is not possible with other boats, they have it high. I also appreciate the lounge with table and benches next to the helm, you can close at night and play cards without being bothered by mosquitoes and having privacy. Also the 12V divorce has something in it, you have no problem recharging your phones .. You can anchor in the home port at any time and you need to connect to the electricity or use the toilet, add water, etc. everything is free. There is a playground, guarded parking, coffee for 10kc, toilets and showers at the hotel level .. I can only recommend and thank you.
