★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service, in fact I had to get the food myself as we were sitting outside and the waitress couldn't be bothered to come to our table. Food average but not great. Shame as it has a good location near the woods. Won't go again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will just write about restaurant, as I haven´t used the hotel. It is partly pub for cyclists going to Hradec forests, but also they opened new more luxurious "winter garden". Meals are pricy for Hradec, but they were really great. We went there for early Christmas lunch and were there practically alone (hence photos). Had one steak, battered chicken with mushroom ragou and honey ribs. Great place, great views, little waterfall inside, great food. Disabled acessible, and there is also children playground.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Location was perfect. In the middle of the forest. Great for biking or taking your pet with you. Rooms were good and clean. Hotel crew was very helpful and nice.. Negative: The breakfast was poor. Not much choice. No fruits. Also, there was a wedding on Saturday evening, which of course can happen. It would be good to check before your booking if there is a wedding in the weekend as the wedding ended rather late in the evening..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ stayed there for 6 days when grandsons competed in the European Karate Competition in town. Perfect hotel for relaxing, very nice clean room, two adults and two children and wasn't cramped. Nice en suite shower room. Breakfast was lovely and plenty to choose from. Meals and snacks were well priced and excellent quality. Great happy and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. The play area was lovely with everything on safety matting. Hotel set in beautiful wooded area. Walkers, dog walkers, skaters, bikes, scooters. Would thoroughly recommend this small friendly hotel. Love to return one day

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: A modern clean hotel and restaurant on the edge of town. Near to a forest with walking trails. Very popular with locals. good restaurant for breakfast and main meals. All very modern decor. Photos on the walls show how the owners have transformed a derelict old building into a very nice modern hotel. Plenty of parking on site. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Not much English spoken but enough to get by - better than our Czech. Take a phrase book. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel so getting to town is easy. CZK 25 for a single ticket - best to have the correct money available before getting on.. Negative: The mattresses were a bit thin and the pillows were somewhat lumpy. Not too bad but could have been better. Otherwise OK..
